Newborn with post-IgG cord blood

Created by Dr. Martínez , 23 Apr, 2020

Good evening, in Peru we have a case of a full-term newborn with post-IgG cord blood, the delivery was by caesarean section, by caesarean section because the mother also underwent a rapid test that was also positive IgG. I would like to ask if the newborn is considered positive Covid or is it that only the antibodies of the made pass through the placenta. What experience do you have?
