The British Society of Gastroenterology (BSG) together with the British Association for the Study of the Liver (BASL) and the Royal College of Physicians (RCP) have published a guide for how the health service could reduce the risk of infection for those with moderate risk inflammatory bowel disease and liver disease.  There are available equally valuable roles that can be performed without direct contact with suspected or confirmed COVID 19 patients. This advice is for patients with moderate risk inflammatory bowel disease and liver disease.
