Multirecicla is one of the leading recycling companies in Venezuela. From their position, they have found a way of helping overcome the Covid-19 pandemic by producing face shield protectors with recycled material.

As aforementioned, this idea arose from the fact that Multirecicla is a logistics company dedicated to the recovery of recyclable waste in the country. They process these waste and transform it into PET sheets or recycled resin as part of the closing of the circular economy cycle.

It turns out that food grade and food grade recycled foil is perfect for producing the protective masks.

To do so, they have brought together entrepreneurs, companies and friends in the C193D project to be able to cut with 3D machines and dies to produce simple masks as soon as possible. 

They count on a network and page that searches or captures the requirements of health centers to be able to make the donation as well as those who want to contribute.

So far, the C193D project has successfully produced and delivered around 5000 face shield protectors in several healthcare centers in Caracas (Venezuela), in which Covid-19 patients are being treated.
