The catalan alliance between Consorci de la Zona Franca (CZFB) and Leitat (Tecnio), together with CatSalut, through Consorci Sanitari de Terrassa (CST) and Hospital Parc Taulí de Sabadell, has managed to develop the first medically validated and industrially reproducible emergency ventilator by 3D printing, ready to support hospitals and ICUs during the COVID-19 pandemics.

The device can be reproduced at industrial scale and can reach a daily production capacity of 50 to 100 units!
