Covid-19 Outbreak: what the department of endoscopy should know
3 Apr, 2020Gastrointestinal endoscopy (GIE) is a monthly peer-reviewed medical journal covering gastroenterology, especially in relation to endoscopy. This journal from ASGE (American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy) published a full article with instructions about how to safely perform an endoscopy during the coronavirus pandemic: different measures implemented in the hospital to prevent further dissemination of COVID-19 infection. Some days after its publication, ESGE and ESGENA (European Society of Gastroenterology & European Society of Gastroenterology and Endoscopy Nurses and Associates) also published a statement with some recommendations.
